What Is the E33G Remote Worker Visa?
The E33G Remote Worker Visa is a limited stay permit designed for foreign nationals who are employed or run a business outside of Indonesia, but wish to live in Indonesia — particularly in destinations like Bali — while working remotely.
This visa is ideal for digital nomads, remote employees, online entrepreneurs, or freelancers who do not receive income from Indonesian sources.

Bring Your Family
You can bring your spouse and children under 18 by applying for a Dependent KITAS (E31) once your visa is approved.
When Must I Enter After the Visa Is Issued?
Once your E33G E-Visa is issued, you have a 90-day window to enter Indonesia from the visa issuance date.

What Activities Are Allowed with the E33G Visa?

Do I Have to Pay Taxes in Indonesia?
Indonesia determines tax residency based on physical presence.
- If you stay more than 183 days within a 12-month period, you may be considered a tax resident
- As a tax resident, global income may be subject to Indonesian taxation

Photo must be clear, uncropped, sharp, and in landscape orientation - Recent passport-size photo

A bank statement from the last 3 months with a minimum ending balance of USD 2,000
A proof of annual income of at least USD 60,000 (from remote salary or business income) - Employment contract
From a company legally established outside Indonesia - Your address in Indonesia
Whether you are staying in a villa, hotel, or long-term rental, provide the complete address

Address Change While on KITAS
If you change your residence while holding a valid KITAS, you must:
✍️ Steps to Follow:
- Notify Visvasa Global Services of your new address.
- Obtain a Domicile Letter from your new neighborhood Banjar (local village office).
📌 Also applies during KITAS renewal. If your address differs from the original, please:
- Inform Visvasa Global Services of the update.
- Submit the new Domicile Letter to immigration.
Keeping your address up to date helps avoid delays and ensures your KITAS remains valid.
