What Is the D2 Business Visa – 1 Year?
The D2 Business Visa – 1 Year (formerly known as the D212 Business Visa) is a multiple-entry visa designed for foreign nationals looking to begin or explore business opportunities in Indonesia, including Bali.
This visa allows you to:
- Enter through any international gateway in Indonesia
- Stay for up to 60 days per visit
- Re-enter Indonesia multiple times within 1 year
It offers the flexibility to participate in various business-related tasks and explore the country’s vibrant commercial landscape — making it ideal for entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals seeking connections and insights into Indonesia’s market.
Visa Validity and Entry Rules
- Visa Validity: 1 year from the E-Visa issuance date
- Stay Duration per Entry: 60 days
- Extension: Not extendable — you must exit and re-enter to reset your 60-day stay
- First Entry: You must enter within 90 days after the E-Visa is issued

Can You Work or Trade with the D2 Business Visa?
No. The D2 Business Visa does not allow you to work or engage in commercial sales or employment within Indonesia.

Required Documents for the D2 Business Visa – 1 Year
Prepare and submit the following documents:

- Color scan of data page and cover page
- Must be valid for at least 9 months
- Minimum of 2 empty pages
- Clear, sharp, uncropped, landscape orientation
⚠️ Note: Applicants using non-passport travel documents must attach a re-entry permit from their country of issue.
📸 2. Recent Passport-Size Photo
- Clear and high resolution
- No filters or facial expressions
- Should include half the body, not just the head and chest
💳 3. Personal Bank Statement
- Minimum balance of USD 2,000 or equivalent
- For the last 3 months
- Must include: your name, statement period, and balance details
